The photos presented here were taken with the film camera that my grandmother left me, and this project is called 'shipwreck'.

Shipwreck first, because that's how I feel, and how I see the world: I wander without having a "home," without that rootedness to the Earth. The place where I find myself is a place of passage, of transition and never an end in itself.

Shipwreck next, because it is the current state of so many humans who have lost their homes and are slowly moving away from their culture, having left everything behind but seeming never to arrive anywhere.

And finally, shipwreck, because we all suffer, at our own scale, the fate of our planet. Because our boat is burning and we are looking elsewhere.
